Her

OB
My heart had become an antiquity
My thoughts were always on her
She was my bane
Kept her away cause man was scared
Didn’t want to commit
Didn’t know what to do
My inner sanctum was being invaded
I push her away and prevailed
She wept many a times
As I gloried in my victory
I went incognito, not bating an eye
Outrageously fine she was
Perfect in all her ways
Abandoned her all to me
Rueful was her smile, once bright
Ennui was what I thought a relationship was
Bruised and battered, she reached the edge of the plank
Ever so subtle I pushed
And she fell, gracefully into the arms of another.
Still I’m beside myself with love for her.
